Why Is My Freezer Building Up Too Much Frost?

If the freezer was accidentally left open:

  1. Close the door completely.
  2. Check that no food is preventing closure.
  3. Allow the freezer to recover.
  4. Monitor whether new frost continues forming.

One accidental door-open event does not automatically mean a component has failed.
