Booking & pricing
Is the service call really $0?
The service call is $0 when you approve and complete the repair. If no repair is completed after diagnosis, the diagnostic/service call is $79.
What happens if I decline the repair?
If the technician diagnoses the issue and you decide not to approve the repair, the diagnostic/service call is $79.
Will I know the price before the repair starts?
Yes. After diagnosis, the recommended repair and repair price are provided for approval before billable repair work begins.
Can I text photos before scheduling?
Yes. Photos of the appliance, model tag, error code, leak, frost buildup, or damaged part can help us understand the request before the visit.
What should I send when requesting service?
Send the appliance type, city, service address, brand or model if available, and a short description of the current symptom.
Scheduling & service area
Do you offer same-day appointments?
Same-day appointments may be available when route timing, location, and the current schedule allow. This is appointment availability, not a guarantee that every repair will be completed the same day.
What cities do you service?
We serve key Southwest Florida cities including Cape Coral, Fort Myers, North Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres, Estero, Bonita Springs, Naples, and nearby route areas when scheduling allows.
Do you service apartments, condos, and rental homes?
Yes. Please send the address, access notes, parking or gate details, and the appliance issue before scheduling.
Can you help if the appliance stopped working today?
Yes. Call or text with the appliance type, city, and symptom. Cooling, leaking, no-heat, and no-start issues are reviewed for the earliest route opening.
Appliances & brands
Do you repair refrigerators that are not cooling?
Yes. Refrigerator calls can include warm compartments, frost buildup, leaks, ice maker trouble, fan noise, dispenser issues, and cooling loss.
Do you repair washers?
Yes. Washer calls can include no spin, draining trouble, leaking, shaking, error codes, lid lock issues, and cycles that stop early.
Do you repair dryers?
Yes. Dryer calls can include no heat, long dry times, noise, drum issues, no-start symptoms, and airflow-related problems.
Do you repair dishwashers?
Yes. Dishwasher calls can include leaking, poor draining, no wash, no dry, door latch issues, unusual noises, and error codes.
Do you repair ovens, stoves, and ranges?
Yes. Oven, stove, and range calls can include heating issues, burners that do not work, ignition problems, control issues, and temperature trouble.
Do you repair freezers and ice makers?
Yes. Freezer and ice maker calls can include no ice, slow ice, frost buildup, water leaks, dispenser issues, warm freezer symptoms, and airflow problems.
Do you service all major brands?
Yes. We work on many major household appliance brands including Whirlpool, GE, Samsung, LG, Frigidaire, Maytag, KitchenAid, Bosch, Kenmore, Amana, and others.
Should I send the brand and model number?
Yes, if available. A model number or clear photo of the model tag helps prepare for parts, access, and repairability questions.
Do you bring parts to the appointment?
Common replacement parts may be stocked on the service vehicle to help complete many repairs during the first visit. Some repairs still require diagnosis first and a specific part may need to be ordered.
Warranty & repair decisions
Are most common repairs completed on the first visit?
Most common repairs are often completed during the first visit when the required part is available. This is not a first-visit guarantee.
How do I know if repair is worth it?
The technician can explain the likely repair path after diagnosis. Age, appliance condition, part availability, and repair cost all affect the repair-or-replace decision.
How long is the repair warranty?
Eligible replacement parts are covered for up to one year. Labor and workmanship coverage is 90 days.
What if the same issue comes back?
Contact us with the appliance, repair date, and symptom. Warranty coverage depends on the completed repair, part, and whether the new symptom is related to the original issue.
Do you repair commercial appliances too?
We review commercial appliance requests when the equipment, access, route, and schedule are a good fit. Send the equipment type, location, and symptom first.
Before the visit
Do you work on built-in appliances?
Built-in appliance requests are reviewed case by case. Please send photos of the installation, appliance type, brand or model, and the current issue.
Do you offer appliance installation?
No. Art’s Appliance Repair does not provide appliance installation as a standalone service. Replacement parts may be installed as part of an approved appliance repair.
What should I do if my refrigerator stops cooling?
Keep the doors closed, avoid unplugging the unit repeatedly, protect perishable food if needed, and call or text the city, brand, and symptom.
What should I do if my washer is leaking?
Stop the cycle if safe, turn off the water supply if the leak is active, take a photo of the leak area, and send the brand, model, and city.
What should I do if my dryer is not heating?
Clean the lint screen, avoid running repeated cycles if the dryer is overheating or noisy, and text the brand, symptom, and whether the drum still turns.
