Terms summary
Last updated: July 21, 2026. This page is written for customers using the Art’s Appliance Repair website, forms, call links, text links, and appliance repair services in Florida.
The diagnostic/service call applies when no repair is completed.
The service call is waived when an approved repair is completed.
Warranty and parts terms depend on the completed repair.
Section 1
The website provides information about appliance repair services, service areas, service-call policy, warranty expectations, and ways to contact Art’s Appliance Repair. Submitting a form, calling, texting, or emailing does not guarantee appointment availability, diagnosis, repair, parts availability, exact arrival time, or a specific outcome. Service availability depends on route, schedule, appliance type, location, access, safety, and repair feasibility.
Section 2
Appointments are scheduled based on route availability, current workload, location, technician timing, parts needs, customer access, traffic, weather, and other conditions outside our control. Any arrival window, same-day service, next-day service, or estimated timing is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of exact arrival time.
Section 3
Before repair work moves forward, the appliance issue, repair path, service-call outcome, and estimated repair cost are reviewed when practical. The service call is $0 when the diagnosed repair is approved and completed. If no repair is completed after diagnosis, including a diagnosis-only visit or declined repair, the diagnostic/service call is $40. Approval may be given verbally, by text, email, written message, form response, or other clear customer instruction.
Section 4
Some repairs require replacement parts, special-order parts, manufacturer parts, or supplier-sourced parts. Parts may require customer approval and may require a deposit or payment before ordering. Delivery timing is an estimate and may change due to supplier availability, backorders, shipping delays, manufacturer issues, or discontinued parts. The customer may be responsible for shipping, handling, return shipping, restocking fees, special-order charges, non-returnable parts, installed parts, used parts, or supplier charges connected to an approved parts order.
Section 5
If a customer cancels after approving an estimate, approving diagnosis, approving repair, or approving ordered parts, the customer may still be responsible for the diagnostic/service call, work already performed, ordered parts, shipping and handling, return shipping, restocking fees, non-returnable parts, special-order parts, installed parts, used parts, and any supplier or delivery charges that cannot reasonably be recovered.
Section 6
Warranty terms depend on the completed repair, the part installed, appliance brand, supplier terms, manufacturer coverage, and the specific issue repaired. Parts warranty is generally based on manufacturer or supplier coverage from the installation date. Labor or workmanship warranty applies only to the work performed and the diagnosed issue that was repaired. Warranty does not automatically cover misuse, improper operation, external damage, power surges, water damage, pests, unrelated appliance failures, new symptoms, cosmetic parts, plastic components, shelf supports, basket slides, customer-supplied parts, inaccessible equipment, or issues outside the approved repair.
Section 7
Payment is due according to the estimate, invoice, or agreement provided at the time of service. Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information, service address, appliance details, safe access, parking or gate information, and a clear description of the issue. Customers should protect personal property, clear access to the appliance, secure pets, and disclose any safety, installation, electrical, water, gas, or access concerns before service begins.
Section 8
Art’s Appliance Repair works to diagnose and repair appliance issues when repair is practical, but no website content, estimate, appointment, diagnosis, or repair attempt guarantees that an appliance can be repaired, that parts are available, that a repair will be cost-effective, that a manufacturer issue can be resolved, or that the appliance will continue operating without unrelated future failures.
Section 9
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Art’s Appliance Repair is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-use damages, including food loss, laundry costs, rental costs, business interruption, lost profits, replacement appliance costs, delays, unavailable parts, supplier issues, customer-provided information errors, inaccessible equipment, pre-existing appliance conditions, or unrelated failures. Liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where Florida law requires otherwise.
Section 10
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Art’s Appliance Repair may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The version posted on this website applies when you use the website or request service, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
